Wing Unit Series chest of drawers designed in 1999 by Michael Sodeau and made by Isokon, UK. This particular model was only made for a short time.

Extremely well made, birch ply with soft yellow paint to the inside of the drawers and reveal detail. Beautifully curved drawers. Finished to the same standard to the rear.

In good condition, some raised grain to the top, some light scratches and a couple of small repairs to the rear corner.

45cm deep x 65.5cm high x 90cm wide.

Love looking at kid’s furniture design from the 50s-70s. All of these feature in the aforementioned ‘New  Furniture’ volumes (Gerd Hatje and Elke Kaspar).
