sold out

A 1609 pitcher/jug and set of 5 Kimara small glasses designed in 1954 by Kaj Franck and made by Nuutajärvi Glassworks. The pitcher is from the first year of production before Franck changed the design to be straight-edged as opposed to slightly flared. The design went on to win the Grand Prix at the Triennale di Milano in 1957.

The pitcher is in the desirable ruby red colour which was more expensive to produce than the other colours.

In very good condition. One small scratch to the pitcher and a small nibble to the rim of one glass.

Pitcher is 23.7cm tall and 9cm diameter at the top. Glasses are 6cm tall by 7cm diameter at the top.
