Pride cutlery by David Mellor for Walker & Hall

£300.00
sold out

42 piece set of vintage Pride silver-plated cutlery designed in 1953 by David Mellor while he was still a student at the Royal College of Art. An extremely elegant design that went on to win one of the first Design Centre Awards in 1957. Made by Walker and Hall, Sheffield.

Silver-plated forks and spoons, the knives are stainless steel with ivory acetal resin handles. 6 dinner knives, 6 dinner forks, 6 side knives, 6 side/dessert forks, 6 dessert spoons, 6 soup spoons and 6 teaspoons.

In excellent condition. The soup spoons have some surface wear from use but I don’t think the rest of the set has been used. Comes with two original boxes.
