Small stool designed by Robin Nance (1907-1990), St Ives, Cornwall. Suitable as small side table or as a plant stand.

Nance trained under Arts and Crafts Master cabinet maker Romney Green and then went on to set up his own workshop in 1933 and later in 1952 he set The Craftsmen's Shop with David Leach.

Three-legged stool with triangular shaped top. In nice vintage condition, some surface scratches/ageing but no damage. Stamped to the underside.

Love looking at kid’s furniture design from the 50s-70s. All of these feature in the aforementioned ‘New  Furniture’ volumes (Gerd Hatje and Elke Kaspar).
66 piece set of ‘model 601’ cutlery designed in 1957 by Arne Jacobsen. This is an early set made by Anton Michelsen, Denmark.

Originally designed for the Royal Copenhagen Hotel, it was also selected by Stanley Kubrick for use in the film

New in - vibrant abstract painting by British artist Donald Wells (1929 - 2014), signed and dated 86.

Wells was a sculptor, painter and print-maker. He studied at Newcastle-under-Lye School of Art where Jack Clarkson, an associate of Henry Moore, ta
