Stuart Bannerman 1960s op-art painting

£0.00
sold out

A psychedelic op-art painting by Stuart Bannerman, undated but likely to be 1960s/70s. Titled ‘Blue and Orange 1’ (oil on board), 1 Oxford Street, Dundee.

Vibrant orange and light blue/grey triangles that converge at the middle of the board in an excellent eye-bending fashion! Framed with a light grey wooden surround.

Unfortunately I’ve not been able to find out anything about the artist but it is a very well-executed piece.

The board/frame is a bit warped but not really noticeable when hung on the wall. The surface of the painting has some wear/marks here and there but overall good.

77.5cm x 77.5cm.
